When the Patsy Clark Mansion was later converted into an upscale restaurant and event space, staff and patrons consistently reported unexplained phenomena tied to the former owner: The Stately Apparition: Multiple sightings describe a figure matching Clark's description—an older, distinguished gentleman in a dark turn-of-the-century suit—standing on the grand landing of the ornate staircase beneath the Tiffany stained-glass window, only to vanish when approached. The "Host" of Browne’s Addition: Witnesses have reported feeling a lingering, watchful presence on the second-floor dining and suite areas. Staff closing late at night frequently reported doors closing firmly on their own and lights clicking back on after being switched off. Bar & Dining Table Anomalies: Bartenders and waitstaff noted heavy glassware and wine glasses sliding smoothly across clean, level surfaces without tipping over, as well as silverware being rearranged overnight. Footsteps & Temperature Drops: Disembodied footsteps pacing the hardwood hallways of the upper floors and sharp cold spots in the basement wine cellar and second-floor former private quarters are among the most persistent claims documented by regional ghost tour operators and investigative teams.
