Bri

Technical lead · sensors, gear, and post-production

Bri

Bri approaches paranormal research with an analytical eye and a builder’s mindset. While her curiosity about the unexplained started at an early age, it truly took shape once she began working hands-on with investigative hardware. That technical drive expanded significantly under the guidance of Andy Guy from Scire Tech UK, who helped her learn to code and introduced her to the world of environmental sensors and custom builds.

With a decade of active field experience, Bri has focused much of her long-term research on St. Ignatius Hospital, treating the historic location as a core proving ground for continuous data collection and gear testing. For the majority of those ten years, she has investigated alongside Charles—a partnership rooted in their time on the original Boo Crew Case Files podcast, where Charles was a regular contributor.

Her professional background in fraud and cybercrime investigation reinforces her evidence-first philosophy: establish reliable baselines, rule out environmental interference, and examine every anomaly with precision. Today, Bri serves as the technical backbone—ensuring the team is equipped with the right tools in the field, deploying environmental sensors, and leading post-production, where she handles the primary video editing and deep-dive audio analysis.

Joe

Investigator · website

Joe

Joe is a paranormal investigator with Boo Crew Case Files and the creator of the team’s website. Naturally curious about the unexplained, he approaches each investigation with an open mind, a critical eye, and a desire to understand what is actually happening before labeling something paranormal.

Detail-oriented and analytical, Joe enjoys examining evidence, researching locations, and looking for explanations behind the experiences the team encounters. He believes a good paranormal investigation means questioning everything, including your own assumptions, while recognizing that sometimes an experience simply doesn't have an easy explanation.

As part of the Boo Crew, Joe works alongside the rest of the team during investigations and contributes wherever needed. He also puts his technical and creative skills to work building and maintaining the Boo Crew Case Files website, giving the team a home to share its investigations and experiences.

For Joe, paranormal investigating isn't about proving that every bump in the night is a ghost. It's about exploring unusual places, uncovering their stories, and chasing those rare moments that leave you asking, "What was that?"

Charles

Investigator

Charles

My name is Charles Johnson and my passion is seeking answers to some of life's most fascinating mysteries. The earliest memories of my interest in the Paranormal/Unknown come from watching the TV show In Search of with Leonard Nimoy. Since that time, my quest for the truth has only grown. Whether it was in the woods of my home state of Kentucky looking for Sasquatch, gazing at the night skies for UFOs or seeking answers to the ultimate question of Is there life after death in a supposedly haunted house or creepy, old cemetery. With my past experience and modern day technology, I hope I get closer each and every day to the answers I have sought.

My fascination with the paranormal began around the age of eight, inside a house I believe was haunted. One of my earliest experiences happened late at night when I heard a series of taps coming from the wall. Curious and a little frightened, I tapped back, and it happened again. It felt as though something on the other side had heard me and responded.

I was too young to understand what was happening and didn’t have anyone I could talk to about it. For years, those experiences remained unexplored. It wasn’t until my 20s that I began looking deeper into the paranormal and questioning what may exist beyond what we can see.

Around 2020, I began exploring cemeteries as a hobby. My interest in these places goes beyond the paranormal; I have always enjoyed learning about history, discovering how people lived, and uncovering the stories of those who came before us. Every name, gravestone, abandoned building, and historic location has a story that deserves to be remembered. Over time, that curiosity grew into a passion for paranormal investigation, exploring historic locations, documenting unexplained experiences, and capturing what may be hiding just beyond the ordinary.

I understand that everyone has different beliefs about death, spirits, and the afterlife, and I respect those differences. I am not here to convince anyone to believe in ghosts, but rather to ask questions: What happens after we die? If spirits exist, can they communicate with us? And when something unexplained happens, is there more to it than what we can see?

I may not have all the answers, but that is exactly what keeps me searching. Sometimes, the most frightening thing isn’t what we find, but what might still have a story to tell.
